AKRON, Ohio – More than 200 people attended a virtual meeting to learn about and weigh in on proposed recommendations outlined in the Merriman Valley and Schumacher Area Master Plan on Wednesday.

Since July, the cities of Akron and Cuyahoga Falls have been working with urban planning consultant Farr Associates to create a Master Plan that will guide future development of the Merriman Valley and Schumacher Area in a way that reflects the goals, values and aspirations of residents, business owners and stakeholders.
